I call this one "Bad Influence"
Some really good friends brought me to his hometown in China, and when I entered his house, his adorable niece came up to me and offered me a cigarette. Back then I was a horribly heavy smoker (I’ve quit since then, thank god), and very surprised, I took one. I took this shot to try to capture the juxtaposition – of her innocense and the adult vice she’s holding, my own guilt of taking the cigarette and the culture clash it illustrates, and the fact that she’s just so darn cute.
