Roadside bathroom on the way to lakeside village in Kyrgystan
This is one of my favorite photos from my time in Central Asia, and it forms the basis of this website’s theme. Some good friends decided to take a mini-vacation going south from Kazakhstan into Kyrgystan to a small tourist lake town, and on the way, the weather was beautiful, with gorgeous plains straight out of documentary – I imaigine this is what Ghengis Khan would’ve seen as he was taking over the world, and you know, taking a leak.
I snapped this shot as we took a roadside break at a little outhouse as mother nature called.
